PARA SPACES

A one-week immersive design retreat on ceremonial practices

16–22  March 2026, Aedes – Architecture and Space, Berlin

PARA SPACES invites participants to explore ceremonial architectures across ancient, indigenous, and contemporary traditions, focusing on how spatial form, materiality, atmosphere, and energetic conditions shape experience. Structured as an immersive design retreat, the program brings together spatial investigation, design experimentation, spiritual inquiry, and collective work.

Over the course of the week, participants learn to attune to the subtle qualities of ceremonial space, test ritual frameworks, and develop a spatial proposal for a practice of their own.

Timed with the spring equinox and the astrological new year, PARA SPACES unfolds within a consciously crafted learning environment. Through group rituals, embodied practices, sensory fieldwork, and critical dialogue, participants expand their spatial perception and examine how ceremonial events rely on specific atmospheric, material, and energetic conditions.
