PORTFOLIO GUIDANCE
A portfolio has to do in a few pages what an entire education took years to build.
Portfolio Guidance is focused, practical support for shaping that presentation — helping a student select, sequence, and frame their work so it reads clearly to the people reviewing it, whether for a school application, a job search, or a competition. Reviewers spend minutes, sometimes seconds, on a first pass through a portfolio; what stands out and what gets lost is rarely obvious to the person who made the work. This guidance draws on the same critical eye used in studio teaching and years of reviewing student and applicant portfolios, applied here to the specific task of making a body of work legible to someone seeing it for the first time.

WHO THIS IS FOR
Students and early-career designers preparing a portfolio for graduate school admission, employment, or competition submission.

APPROACH
1 — Selection
Identifying which projects actually belong in the portfolio, and which — however much time went into them — are quietly working against it.

2 — Narrative
Sequencing the work so it builds an argument about the applicant's own thinking and trajectory, rather than reading as an unordered set of projects.

3 — Presentation
Direct feedback on layout, image quality, and written content — the level of craft a reviewer reads as a signal of the applicant's overall standard.

RATES
Single session — €200
Two-session package (review + revision check) — €360
for a portfolio that needs a follow-up pass after the first round of changes
